The European Regulations (EU) 2018/2067 and 2018/2066 require verification bodies to provide the resources necessary for verification tasks in greenhouse gas emissions trading. For this reason, Müller-BBM Cert Umweltgutachter GmbH cooperates with external experts who have been successfully involved in emissions trading for a long time.
We also cooperate with external auditors for the certification of management systems.
Our experts work on a project-specific basis as freelance partners, independently and without instructions, in accordance with the specifications of the quality management system of Müller-BBM Cert Umweltgutachter GmbH.

Reno Dabrock advises and supports companies in matters of corporate environmental protection, especially in ambient air protection and greenhouse gas emissions trading. Since 2004, Dr. Reno Dabrock is a publicly appointed and sworn expert for verification in greenhouse gas emissions trading.
Dr. Reno Dabrock studied biology at the University of Göttingen and completed his doctorate in microbiology in 1992. From 1993 to 2003 he worked in the remediation of contaminated sites, initially in the field of microbiology, later in the field of environmental law. At the same time, he completed a postgraduate studies programme in environmental law from 1998 to 2000 at the University of Lüneburg. Since 2004, Dr. Reno Dabrock works independently.

Markus Fauth is a management consultant in the areas of management systems, products, certification, testing, training and certified EU fundraising. He is the managing director of Fauth Consulting GmbH and works as an associated lead auditor for management systems for Müller-BBM Cert GmbH in the areas of quality management, environmental management, occupational health and safety management and energy management. His auditing competencies cover numerous industries, including automotive, aviation, medical technology and food technology. Mr. Fauth can look back on approx. 2000 audit days as an external auditor according to the standards ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001 / ISO 45001 and ISO 50001.

Stephan Höser has been an publicly appointed and sworn expert for approval procedures in the field of paper, electroplating and hot-dip galvanizing since 2001. He also has been an publicly appointed and sworn expert for verification in greenhouse gas emissions trading in the areas of combustion systems, installations for the production of ceramic products as well as pulp and paper since 2004.
Dr. Stephan Höser studied chemistry at the University of Bochum and completed his doctorate on the reaction kinetics of excited gas radicals. He has been working in corporate environmental protection since 1996 and is managing director of LEOMA GmbH since 1999. In addition to approval applications and introducing management systems, he is engaged with complex compliance checks and conducting audits in the areas of quality, environmental protection and occupational health and safety.

Dieter Köhler completed his studies in electrical engineering at the Technical University of Munich in 1996, specializing in energy technology. Until 2001 he was a research assistant at the Research Center for Energy Economics. In 2001, the “enwikon Energiewirtschaftliche Konzepte GmbH” was founded, of which Mr Köhler has been managing director until 2005. The new business field of greenhouse gas emissions trading was opened up there at an early stage with the project “Method development for determining CO2 inventories”. Since 2004, Mr. Köhler is an publicly appointed and sworn expert for verification. Since then he has mainly been active in the area of emissions trading, and has been working on an independent basis since December 2010.

Peter Lambotte has been working in corporate environmental protection since 1993 and has been an publicly appointed and sworn expert for verification in greenhouse gas emissions trading since 2004.
After completing his degree in chemistry in 1992, Peter Lambotte initially worked at the State Trade Inspectorate in Düsseldorf and then as a project manager in a management consultancy for corporate environmental protection. Since 1996 he has been working as a freelance expert and management consultant for environmental protection.

Hans-Jürgen Schwefer is an publicly appointed and sworn expert for approval procedures in the environmental sector, verification in greenhouse gas emissions trading and verification of aviation emissions.
Hans-Jürgen Schwefer completed his studies at RWTH Aachen, at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, as a graduate engineer specializing in process engineering. One focus of his work is the preparation and management of approval applications for large-scale installations in the chemical industry, waste disposal and the power plant industry. He is also a reviewer for licensing authorities and co-editor and author of publications in the field of environmental licensing procedures.

Markus Weber has been working in the field of emissions trading since 1999. Among other occupations, he was team leader for natural gas procurement and emissions trading at ThyssenKrupp AG and ThyssenKrupp Steel Europe AG for many years. Before that he was Senior Consultant “Certificate Markets” at Ecofys GmbH and at PricewaterhouseCoopers Corporate Finance Beratung GmbH he was working as Senior Consultant in the field of emissions trading. At DIN CERTCO Gesellschaft für Konformitätsicherung mbH he worked as product manager for the certification areas environment and information technology. As an publicly appointed and sworn expert for verification in greenhouse gas emissions trading and aviation emissions, he has been working as a freelancer in various industries since 2004.
